My First Startup HireAITool - 2 Weeks In

As I wrote in my first post I’m on a mission to create 12 startups in 12 months. This is a progress report since it has been 2 weeks since I committed myself to this.

I launched within 1 week on the the 1st of November a MVP for www.hireaitool.com - this is a tool for Human Resources Managers & Recruiters to use AI to analyse big data so that companies can offer better compensation packages to attract and retain top talent.

It is currently still in beta testing mode so I made an early birds pre-sale €19 for the first 20 early adopters.

I first tested out marketing by talking about this on Twitter, but did not get any traction or huge views on my posts.

As you can see this is one of my top posts and it has only 58 views 😢.

So yesterday I thought about the whole marketing on Twitter/X.com and it made sense to me why I was not getting any traction. My whole Twitter feed is full with indie hackers and solopreneurs which both are not my target group.

But for now and the last week, most of my traffic came from Twitter/X.com and I had 22 visitors to my site (I know the numbers are impressing)

And I just checked my Stripe account and Hurray🎉!! I made my first pre-sale! 🎊

I am very excited as I was not actively promoting/marketing my startup. I will spend the next two weeks promoting my startup as much as possible and see how much traction this will get. I will keep you posted on the progress of course.
